INTRICATE embroidery, imaginative pillars and vessels made from recycled plastic bags are part of a textile exhibition by Harrogate artists.
The Small Group consists of eight artists who are based in Harrogate, but who have members in County Durham. The group is staging Vessels, Icons and Pillars in the Discovery Centre, in Bishop Auckland Market Place, until February 19.
There are ornate pillars, wall hangings, handstitched vessels and crotchet work as well as representations of computer icons.
The Discovery Centre is open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 11am to 4pm. Admission is free.
