COUNCIL chiefs will meet the regional development agency today to discuss funding for Richmond's town manager.
The meeting was called after regional development agency Yorkshire Forward said it was cancelling its funding for the full-time post from March 31.
It is feared the post of town manager and the Richmond Swale Valley Initiative, which employs the manager, will be unable to continue without the £25,000 from Yorkshire Forward.
The initiative was set-up in November 2003 to boost the economy of Richmond and the Swale valley.
