PERSONNEL at North Yorkshire's front-line fighter base have been honoured for their services both at home and abroad.
Military and civilian men and women were presented with awards in a ceremony at RAF Leeming, near Bedale.
Among the honours were the Queen's Commendation for Valuable Service, QCVS, which recognises quality of service during, or in support of, operations.
Also presented was the Iraq Medal, which is given for the collective bravery and achievements of military and civilian personnel.
It is a campaign medal to mark the contribution of service personnel, both regular and reservist, and that of civilian colleagues who have given significant service in difficult and dangerous circumstances.
The long service and good conduct Medal, Lsgcm, is awarded to airmen and airwomen who have completed 15 years service, during which time they must have shown exemplary conduct and good service.
