A SERIES of half-term health options will be on offer next week to families in a County Durham village.
The library in Horden, on Sunderland Road, has joined forces with Easington Primary Care Trust's Health for All project to offer youngsters a number of events during the school holiday.
On Tuesday, children will be given the chance to enjoy some pancakes as well as learning about Shrove Tuesday and join in games.
Then on Wednesday, the Health for All team will be teaching youngsters about growing their own food and helping them plant seeds to take away and grow.
A health walk will be held on Thursday, with coffee available at the finish.
Children will be given the chance to make kites on Friday, February 11 when all the necessary materials will be provided.
All activities are free and take place each day between 10am and noon. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
For more information on the activities contact Anne at the Horden Library on 0191-586 3887 or Julie Tucker at Health For All on 0191-554 5726.
