ANGEL of the North creator Anthony Gormley has released a book about his exhibition that began with 285 North-East residents covered in plaster cast.
Making Space documents how the artist transformed the moulds into a forest of shimmering steel.
The work, Domain Field, was shown at the Baltic in Gateshead during 2003.
The volunteers were invited back to the Baltic to celebrate the launch yesterday.
Mr Gormley said: "Two years on, I am enjoyed meeting again with some of the people who helped make Domain Field, the regional volunteers, the moulding and welding teams and the Baltic staff, all of whom worked tremendously hard to realise the project."
The book will be on sale at the Baltic on Gateshead's quayside.
