CELEBRITIES have designed Valentine's Day cards to help sick North-East children.
Footballer Alan Shearer, Ant and Dec, Cheryl Tweedy, of Girls Aloud, Jonny Wilkinson, Westlife's Shane Lynch and pop singer Darius all made cards and signed them in aid of the Just for Kids charity.
The cards are being auctioned on the charity's website. The bidding will close next Friday to ensure they arrive on Valentine's Day.
Charity manager Stephanie Buchanan said: "The cards are all personalised and beautifully made. There was certainly some creativity involved in the production process."
In August last year, Ant and Dec raised more than £54,000 for the charity at the first Northern Stars Charity Ball.
The event was in the Newcastle and Gateshead Hilton Hotel, where guests were treated to a version of Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.
Money raised will go to projects that support disadvantaged children in the region.
The website is at www.just forkids.org.uk
