THEIR clubs have long been bitter rivals on the pitch, but the managers of Darlington and Hartlepool United will go head-to-head today over the airwaves.
Quakers boss David Hodgson and Hartlepool's Neale Cooper will be the guest presenters on TFM Radio's Soccer Saturday show.
The magazine-style programme takes an irreverent look at football in the North-East, and Hodgson and Cooper will be joined by regular contributors, including Terry Cochrane and Jeff Winter.
Colin Paterson, of TFM, said: "It is a real coup to persuade David and Neale to give up the day-job for a while to record one of our flagship programmes.
"They are both more used to being on the other side of the microphone being questioned, so it will be interesting to see how they perform as presenters."
The pre-recorded show will be on air from noon to 2pm.
While audiences are listening to the pair, their clubs will be in action against Bury and Chesterfield respectively.
