CONCERN is growing for a 37-year-old man who vanished after a day of drinking.
Ian Nightingale, who lives in Redcar, east Cleveland, visited various pubs in Middlesbrough on Wednesday and spoke to several strangers throughout the day, said a Cleveland Police spokesman.
He ended up at the Captain Cook pub, where his partner, who had been with him all day, left him after giving him her last £20. He has been neither seen nor heard of since.
Police say Mr Nightingale suffered a brain haemorrhage two years ago and can become forgetful and disorientated.
He was last seen wearing a blue and cream Adidas top and light blue denim jeans. He was also wearing a silver Adidas watch.
Anyone who knows of his whereabouts is asked to call (01642) 302626.
