A HEALTH watchdog is investigating allegations of abuse and neglect against four people at a North-East care home.
The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) is looking at complaints against one current and two former carers at the Bamburgh Court Nursing Home, in South Shields, South Tyneside.
The allegations involve the moving and handling of patients and the management of incontinent patients.
Three people were arrested by Northumbria Police and later released without charge, following a visits from an inspection team.
The matter is now in the hands of the NMC.
