RESIDENTS of Ryedale are being given another chance to give their views on a new sports facility for the district.
Display boards outlining the proposal for the sports facility, in central Ryedale, can now be seen at Ryedale House, Malton. Questionnaires will also be available.
A day-long consultation, which was held on January 29, resulted in many people learning more about the development and completing the questionnaires.
The questionnaires and display boards have now been moved to the reception area to give as many people as possible the chance to add their views.
Councillor Lindsey Burr, vice-chairman of Ryedale District Council, said: "Consultation is a key element in ensuring that this sports centre is in the right place that people want it to be and will provide the sporting facilities that Ryedale residents want.
"Ryedale residents' views are vital for this exciting new project because it is going to be their facility, and all opinions will be really appreciated."
