HOMES in a North-East town will be given a multi-million pound makeover after funding was secured.
Coast and Country Housing received the £20m boost from the European Investment Bank to provide the facelift of houses in Redcar, east Cleveland.
The cash will go towards an £80m programme that includes extensive maintenance and repair work to the company's housing.
Jane Iley, finance director at Coast and Country, said: "As part of our long-term remit, we aim to upgrade every Coast and Country property to meet the Decent Homes Standard set by the Government."
