THE half-term programme at the Bowes Museum, in Barnard Castle, started yesterday with a family fun day.
The day, the Whater Palaver day, was inspired by the Sea Britain 2005 campaign .
On Saturday, there will be tours around the museum at 1pm and 3pm.
Exhibitions on display this half-term also include the Toulouse-Lautrec and the Art of the French Poster, Boucher: Landscapes and Norman Parkinson: Portraits in Fashion.
The museum is open every day and is free to children under 16.
