LOTTERY luck has landed on someone in the Durham and Chester-le-Street area - and they don't appear to know it.

There is a £111,355 prize for matching five main numbers and the bonus ball in the Lotto game on Saturday, January 15, but the ticket-holder has not come forward.

Lottery operator Camelot is warning that they have until 5.30pm on July 14 to claim their winnings or the money will go into the Good Causes fund.

The main numbers were: 5, 20, 30, 32, 35, 38, and bonus number 9.

Last May the winner of a £228,555 Lotto prize from the Durham and Chester-le-Street area claimed their money just as the 180-day deadline was about to expire.

Camelot had put out an appeal featuring North-East TV celebrity Jayne Middlemiss and Colin Beswick, Durham's Town Crier.

Camelot spokesman Fabian Devlin is urging players to check their tickets carefully.

He said: "Lottery tickets have been kept in all sorts of strange places, which is why we are asking people to cast their minds back to the weekend of the 15th of January and remember what they were doing and then try to think what they might have done with that ticket. The champagne is on ice and I'm still confident we can find the lucky winner in time."
