A MAN has been arrested in connection with a break-in at a councillor's office last month.
A 30-year-old man was arrested yesterday by detectives investigating the break-in at premises used by independent councillor John Shuttleworth, at County Hall, Durham. Police said the man had been arrested in Chapel Street, Willington, County Durham, and charged with burglary. The only item stolen was a bottle of aftershave. He is expected to appear at Consett Magistrates' Court next Thursday.
