JESSICA Russell, who is based at Lynn and David Barker's Northallerton stables, has received the Edward Robinson Memorial Trophy as the overall points winner in the BSJA Area 15 with the six-year-old Lord Brockett.
The presentation took place at The Old Swan Hotel, Harrogate, where prizes were handed out by former international rider Pam Drake.
Jessica took the grade C ahead of Thirsk rider Sarah Russell with the eight-year-old Matilda. Sarah was also runner-up in the Young Riders with Gamble On behind Tracey Holder and Ontario II.
Tracey took the Members Cup on Valeur Van Lindenhof ahead of Jessica Russell riding Limburg. Jessica also took the A and B with Clover Classic ahead of Sarah Russell on the 12-year-old grey mare Mistrato.
Alice McCullagh took the JA junior award with Alpental Crystal Canon and will be aiming at the Krailburg Finals this year. Other junior winners were Lucy and Zoe Wilson and Jordan Thompson, while £400 was raised for the tsunami victims.
Paul Barker was honoured at the BSJA show jumpers ball held at Warwick as the leading national rider of the 2004 season.
