THE president of Richmond Meet has revealed her badge for this year.
Pauline Dowse has chosen a black and gold design depicting Durham Cathedral, because she was born in County Durham, and the obelisk of Richmond Market Place.
Each president designs a badge as their banner for the year.
Mrs Dowse yesterday appealed for people to get involved in the meet on May Bank Holiday weekend.
She said: "Our plans are well under way but we can always use help and advice from new members and patrons.
"This year, we really want to make a big effort on the parade but we can't do all the floats ourselves. I am asking all the groups in Richmond area to give it a shot this year and enter a float."
She can be contacted on (01748) 822840.
