A SUPPORT group for fibromyalgia sufferers is holding fundraising events in the coming weeks.
Peter Barron, editor of The Northern Echo, will give a talk at the Fibromyalgia Support Group's first anniversary meeting on Wednesday, in Darlington Memorial Hospital social club, at 7.30pm.
There will also be a coffee morning on Saturday, March 19, at St Augustine's Church Hall, in Darlington, at 10am.
Fibromyalgia is often referred to as the unseen disease because the sufferer usually looks well. Symptoms include painful joints, fatigue, irritable bowel syndrome, depression and anxiety.
The group meets once a month, and also has a helpline on (01325) 461728.
