A HOST of activities have been planned to keep children entertained during the half-term holidays.
Countryside staff at Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council will be keeping youngsters busy with craft sessions and card-making tasks.
Saltburn Woodland Centre hosts a craft session on Tuesday, from 1pm until 3pm, with a walk through the woods to collect twigs and the chance to create natural ornaments. Admission is £1 and anyone interested should call (01287) 622408 for more details.
Making kites and flying fish is on the agenda at Guisborough Forest and Walkway on Wednesday, with two sessions from 10am until noon and 1pm until 3pm. Admission £1. Call (01287) 631132 to book.
Youngsters can make a 3-D nature card at Flatts Lane Country Park, Normanby, on Thursday, with two sessions from 1.30pm until 2.30pm and 3pm until 4pm, £1 admission. Call (01642) 459629.
To celebrate National Nest Box Week, Guisborough Forest and Walkway hosts a Save Our Sparrows session on Sunday, from noon until 3pm. The cost is £2 per box. Call (01287) 631132 for details.
