A BREWER in North Yorkshire has won an industry award.
Suddaby's, of Malton, won first prize in the bottled beers category with Auld Bob ale, and took second place in the porter, old ales and stout category with the After Dark Coffee Porter.
Managing director Neil Suddaby said: "This is great news for us.
"2004 was a year of great change for us as we have totally restructured our brewing operations and services, improved our performance in the hospitality side of the business at the Crown Hotel and launched our new speciality beer and wine shop, Malt 'on Hops on the site.
"This is the icing on the cake for what has been a very successful year."
