DANCE students will perform two original pieces inspired by the Yorkshire Dales at the weekend.
GCSE dance students from Richmond School have been working with professional choreographers Beth Cassani and Lucy Suggate.
Richard Jones, the school's director of performing arts, said: "This is bound to be an exciting evening, as those present will see something quite different in the field of dance.
"The audience will see a contrasting approach to creative movement, with each piece sharing a similar excitement, invention and theatricality."
The dances, which have been commissioned by Arts in Richmondshire, will be performed at the school from 7.30pm on Saturday.
Tickets are £6 for adults, and £4 for concessions, available on (01748) 828109.
