ST MARGARET'S Children's Home in Brotton, east Cleveland, has been awarded more than £1, 000 by Marske Fishermen's Choir.
The men, who perform every week from September to March, handed over £1,027 yesterday.
The cash will pay for the running costs of the home's minibus.
Unit manager Marianne Dixon said: "We are so grateful to everyone who has helped us over the last few months."
