A CAMPAIGN has been launched to encourage businesses in County Durham to invest in their workforce.
Business Link County Durham is targeting 5,000 small to medium-sized companies across the county to raise awareness of the range of support services available to help them make the most of their staffs' skills.
The campaign will show how businesses can access information on everything from recruitment to training for managers and directors.
Pam Ready, of Business Link, said: "The workforce is the heartbeat of any business, and we hope this campaign will help employers make the most of this vital resource.
"Investing in developing the skills of employees can have a knock-on effect in terms of improving a wide range of business areas, including increased productivity, improved motivation and enhanced customer satisfaction."
