MOTHER-of-two Samantha Skilbeck is planning to compete in May's BUPA Great Manchester Run, supporting Yorkshire Cancer Research.
Samantha, from Whitby, said: "I chose to support Yorkshire Cancer Research because my family has been affected by this awful disease and I believe the more money that is raised to fund cancer research in our region the closer we will be to finding a cure."
Samantha started running 18 months ago to lose weight after the birth of her youngest son, Dylan, and lost four stones. She now runs four to six miles most days as part of her new-found interest.
