A BUSY high street provided an unlikely setting for an encounter with birds of prey. Children in Stockton High Street were able to get up close to eagle owls and kestrels.
The birds of prey were from Ridgeside Falconry Display and youngsters were given the chance to handle the birds.
Head falconer Phill Gibbons is based in County Durham, but Ridgeside is the largest mobile display in the country.
Mr Gibbons has a static exhibition of about 15 different birds of prey, which will be on display in the high street until the end of the week.
