NORTH-EAST Rotarians are celebrating their movement's centenary with a firework display.
The event will be held on Saturday, February 26, at the Nissan car plant, Washington, starting at 7.15pm.
Admission on the night will cost £4 and the proceeds of the event will be distributed to charities in the region.
It is expected to attract about 4,000 people.
Rotary district governor Syd Howarth said: "I hope everyone will have a super night.''
He thanked Nissan for providing hot food, refreshments, bouncy castles, children's rides, bars, stalls, displays and free parking.
The North-East Rotary district stretches from Berwick to Middlesbrough and has more than 2,000 members in 68 clubs.
This weekend, the annual North-East Rotary Conference, in Leeds, will be entertained by the Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band.
