HUNDREDS of mourners have paid their respects to a dedicated member of the community who served as Mayor of Seaham, in east Durham, and chairman of Easington District Council.
Former colliery overman Bill Gustard, 70, lost his fight against bone cancer last Saturday.
Joining friends and family among the congregation at St Hild and St Helen's Church, in Dawdon, were Easington MP John Cummings and Seaham Mayor Charlie Walker
