Singer Jeanette Wainwright is to use her talents at a concert to raise funds for victims of the tsunami in Asia.
Ms Wainwright, who lives in Saltburn, sings all over the world and works with many English opera companies.
As well as producing the concert, at Emmanuel Church, Saltburn, next month, she will perform alongside 70 singers.
The concert willl be an opportunity to hear the best of We'll Gather Lilacs - the sell out December show produced by Ms Wainwright and dedicated to veterans of the Second World War.
It features songs, dance and entertainment from the 1940s and will be followed by arrangements of Latin and African chants, show tunes and popular songs from across the world.
Ms Wainwright said: "I feel it is very important to keep the momentum of fundraising going even though the tsunami appeal seems to be winding down.
"There are many other areas of the world that need support and the money raised will automatically be directed to them if necessary. We want to fill the church with as many people as possible."
The tsunami relief concert will take place on Saturday, March 5, at 2pm.
Doors open at 1.15pm and tickets are £5, available at the door from Kings of Saltburn on (01287) 622246.
