YOUNG gaming enthusiasts met this weekend to battle it out for the crown of The Lord of the Rings.
Teams from Stockton, Middlesbrough and Grangefield Games Workshop Clubs met at Stockton Central Library on Saturday to compete in the tournament.
Youngsters took part in a series of tabletop battlefield games inspired by the famous trilogy written by JRR Tolkein.
The tournament was organised by Stockton Borough Council's library service and Games Workshop's Middlesbrough store.
The Games Workshop club meets monthly at the library and has attracted a regular following and growing interest from young people.
