BUDDING soccer stars are being given the chance of success through a football coaching course.
Darlington Football Club's Football in the Community scheme will take place every Saturday between 10am and 11am.
The sessions are open to boys and girls aged between five and 12 and cost £2 per session.
The club's Football in the Community officer, Kevin Stonehouse, said: "It's a chance for children to come and have an enjoyable time.
"If they're good enough, it's also a chance for kids to get scouted for our centre of excellence.
"But we're not just looking for the most skillful kids, we just want kids to come down and hopefully have fun."
Skills including ball control, team-building skills, accuracy and co-ordination control will be taught by qualified coaches at the Quaker Sports Centre, Polam Lane.
To reserve a place, call Mr Stonehouse on (01325) 387019 or 07790 015410.
