DARLINGTON travel to London to take on Leyton Orient tomorrow hoping to build on two encouraging results and performances which have hauled them back into the League Two promotion play-off places.
Quakers followed up a creditable 1-1 draw at Wycombe Wanderers last Saturday with a gutsy 2-1 win over promotion-chasing visitors Swansea City on Tuesday evening.
They were pegged back by veteran striker Steve Claridge just two minutes after Clyde Wijnhard's back-header had put them ahead after 34 minutes of Saturday's game and it looked like a similar scenario was unfolding against the Swans.
Adrian Forbes quickly equalised after Matt Clarke had broken the deadlock, again after 34 minutes, but this time Quakers fought back to take all three points when Neil Wainwright struck six minutes from time.
Orient will be hoping to rekindle their own fading promotion hopes at the expense of David Hodgson's side, who are back up to seventh place. The Londoners salvaged a point at home to Lincoln on Tuesday.
