AN extra public meeting has been arranged so people can find out about the services planned for a £25m integrated health and social care facility.
The plan is a partnership project between Langbaurgh PCT and Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council.
A meeting is arranged for Thursday, March 17, from 2pm to 4pm, at Redcar and Cleveland College, Connections Campus, in Redcar Lane in the town.
Another has been arranged for Monday, March 14, at the same venue from 6.30pm to 8pm.
People will be invited to respond to the service proposals for the integrated centre.
The scheme will replace services currently provided at Stead Memorial Hospital, as well as the four GP practices at Redcar Health Centre, in Coatham Road, and part of Wheatacres Residential Home, at Low Farm Drive.
It will also provide additional outpatient and day case facilities.
The 13-week consultation period runs until Sunday, April 10 .
If anyone has not yet received a leaflet about the proposed changes, call Kay Monaghan on (01287) 284438.
