TWO headteachers are to give a presentation to parents on how they can help their children at home with their education.
Elaine McCue and George Ford, headteachers at Abbey Infant and Abbey Junior schools in Darlington, have already given several presentations to parents on various educational topics.
The aim is to help parents understand the impact of a wide range of education issues on their children.
Headteachers have covered thinking skills, behaviour management related to emotional literacy and brain gym.
Infant school headteacher Mrs McCue said: "We value the contribution that parents have to make in education and hold their role in high regard.
"We try to be innovative and these presentations are part of that."
The latest presentation on parenting will also talk about the role of teaching assistants and school remodelling.
The meeting will be held in Abbey Infant School's main hall starting at 7pm tomorrow.
