THE miracle of water is celebrated in a new photographic exhibition.
Dave Milburn, a former photographer with The Northern Echo, is staging an exhibition at The Green Dragon Museum in his native Stockton.Titled Mercurial Water, it features a number of coastal and waterfall scenes, mostly from across the North-East and North Yorkshire.
Scenes photographed include Paddy's Hole, at South Gare in Redcar, Staithes Harbour, Saltburn Pier, the Tees through Thornaby, Black Nab in Saltwick Bay, near Whitby, and images from Lindisfarne.
Kate Mahaffy, exhibitions co-ordinator for Stockton, said: "Dave's photographs give a sense of the timeless quality of water while capturing an impression and mood of the place the water is in at that moment. This is a very exciting exhibition."
Mr Milburn will meet the public at the museum on the morning of the last day of the exhibition, on Saturday, April 23. The Green Dragon Museum is open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm and entry is free. The photographs are available to buy
