A NEW mother who bit two sisters during a brawl over a taxi was spared jail yesterday.
Victoria Milburn, 20, bit Marissa Ridley's finger and thigh and bit a section out of Marina Gray's ear.
Newcastle Crown Court heard how it was Milburn's first night out since she had a baby a few weeks earlier.
When the night, in South Shields, South Tyneside, ended, she was dragged from a taxi by the two sisters and violence erupted.
Milburn, of Selbourne Street, South Shields, admitted two charges of assault.
She was sentenced to a 12-month community rehabilitation order.
