POLICE carried out three simultaneous operations at the weekend to target alcohol-related violence.
Officers from the Cleveland force went on patrols last Friday and Saturday targeting 71 premises in Loftus, Guisborough, Redcar, Eston and Grangetown.
As part of the on-going campaign, Operation Nightsafe, 15 arrests were made.
A man was arrested at the Aruba nightclub in Redcar following a glassing incident and three people were found in possession of drugs.
Further arrests were made across both evenings for assault and public order offences.
Sgt Shaun Quinn said: "This was a successful operation to reduce alcohol-related violence and we will be continuing our patrols."
