WITH Matty Appleby making an inspirational start to his second spell at the club, Darlington strikers Clyde Wijnhard and Alun Armstrong ended their recent lean spells to shoot down League Two leaders Yeovil Town last Saturday.
After the Quakers front men had struck early in each half, Darren Way's late goal for the Glovers was only a consolation as David Hodgson's men moved up to sixth.
But they will be without Wijnhard at Grimsby Town tomorrow as the Dutch striker begins a three-match ban triggered by his late red card on Saturday. Bobby Petta could also be missing as he suffered a hamstring injury.
The Mariners still harbour hopes of a late push for the play-offs, but Quakers will be desperate to prove they can at last put together a string of good results.
