Jarrow Roofing manager Richie McLoughlin believes his side can overturn a 1-0 deficit and earn a place in the FA Vase final when they host Didcot on Saturday.
Roofing lost to a second half goal against the Hellenic League leaders, but McLoughlin still has a final appearance in his sights.
"We're not downhearted at all," he said. "We know that we can improve this Saturday. Four or five of our players didn't perform very well, and I'm sure they'll be wanting to put that right.
"We're delighted that we're only a goal down, because that still gives us every chance of going through."
Didcot started better, and hit the bar through Andy Cooper, but Roofing improved and hit the bar themselves just after half time with a header by centre half Andy Davies.
But the Oxfordshire side took the lead on 56 minutes when Paul Powell set up Jamie Heapy to score with a low shot, and they nearly made it 2-0 when Fletcher Hoey hit the upright.
Bedlington were beaten by a last minute penalty at AFC Sudbury in their semi final, but they are optimistic about the second leg next week.
Sudbury forced the pace of the game early on and took the lead through Andrew Claydon with a header from a long throw, but then Bedlington came more into the game.
Sudbury keeper Dean Greygoose made two good saves, while Kevin Walton put another chance wide.
Bedlington levelled after 80 minutes through John Milner from a pass by Micky Cross, but in the last minute Colin Morton was adjudged to have handled, and Sudbury's Lee Norfolk scored from the spot.
