LANGUAGE students got a taste of French culture when a theatre company visited their school.
Year seven and eight pupils from Eastbourne School, in Darlington, were treated to a performance by the Courgette Volante group.
The show mixed French, English, drama and circus acrobatics.
Headteacher Karen Pemberton said: "The show was thoroughly enjoyed by the pupils who learnt some French words about directions, the weather, numbers, telephoning, greetings and about French culture."
