A SCHEME to help visually-impaired people enjoy the countryside around Darlington returns next month.
The borough council's rural walks continue on Tuesday, April 12, with a walk around Barmpton and Skerne Valley.
Anyone interested in taking part in the four-and-a-half-mile walk should meet at Glebe Road at 10am.
A sighted guide will accompany all visually impaired walkers.
The event is part of the third programme of monthly walks organised by the council's countryside team.
Other activities lined up for this year include more walks around the borough, as well as a trip to Hamsterley Forest.
