FORMER pupils of a Darlington school have returned to pass on advice to teenagers now facing career choices.
They came back for the annual careers morning at Polam Hall School, Darlington, to help youngsters in year nine and upwards who are considering their GCSE and A-level options.
Representatives of professions including accountancy, marketing, dentistry and the civil service gave up their time to talk to pupils.
A group of 11 girls who left the school in 1998 were among those who were giving out information.
Laura Slater, 25, is a project manager with a local graphic and web design company.
She said: "It's great to be back at Polam to give advice to the younger girls, any one of whom could have been me during my school days."
Headteacher Marie Green said: "It was wonderful to see so many former pupils and for the staff to make contact with so many familiar faces.
"We are delighted that our alumni are so willing to help our current students."
