A COMPANY has been set up to help short-staffed firms to recruit workers from Poland.
Katie Dennis, of Malton, and Polish business partner Adam Patkowski have established Anglo Polish Communications Ltd.
Ms Dennis got the idea after using a contact in Ireland to recruit drivers from Poland for her haulage business.
She said: "We don't bring people in and find them jobs, we work from specific requests from companies that are having problems recruiting in this country.
"It's really to expand horizons, not to take local jobs. We are not an agency - this is purely a head-hunting company."
Mr Patkowski places adverts in Poland, gathers CVs, then interviews candidates.
