VOLUNTEERS are needed to help give Barnard Castle's Cricket Club a makeover.
The volunteers are needed on April 2 and 3 to help with painting and planting.
The revamp is part of a national CricketForce initiative.
Keith Pont, director of development at the England and Wales Cricket Board, said: "Partnerships between cricket, business and local people can really make a difference."
The club is appealing for volunteers, or for businesses who may be able to supply equipment, fixtures, fittings and furniture.
Local firms Hodgson's Timber, Atkinson Joiners and Allen Jenkins Decor and Carpet Centre have donated.
Volunteers are asked to call John Walker on 07790 495710.
