THREE leading attractions are joining forces this week to attract tourists to the region.
Hartlepool Historic Quay, the Museum of Hartlepool and HMS Trincomalee will be brought together under the banner of Hartlepool's Maritime Experience from Good Friday.
The town council hopes the move will bring more tourists to the area, with visitors having to pay one discounted rate to view all three attractions.
Claire Munroe, marketing officer at Hartlepool Borough Council, said: "This partnership between the council and HMS Trincomalee Trust represents a major step forward and it actually works out cheaper than the previous ticketing system."
At the weekend, The Stiltskins stilt walkers will be at the Quayside, and there will be games and face painting.
Prices for Hartlepool's Maritime Experience are £6.25 for adults, £3.75 for children and £4.75 for over-60s. Family tickets are available at £16.50 for two adults and up to three children. For details, call (01429) 860077.
