YOUNG artists are showing off their work at an exhibition.
The Discovery Centre, in Bishop Auckland's market place, has been transformed by the work created by first and second year BTEC National Diploma Fine Arts students from Bishop Auckland College.
Visitors can view displays that include photography, textile work, sculptures and self portraits.
The students have also created life-size self portraits, which are being displayed in the Newgate Centre.
Sheila Smithson, co-ordinator of the fine arts course, said: "There is a tremendous variety of work. They have each taken something of interest to them and, what I am most pleased about, is they have all been able to do very individual pieces of work.
"They have worked very hard."
The exhibition runs until Saturday, April 2.
