A PROJECT to ensure carers are receiving support will be launched next month.
The Carers Project, at the Middlesbrough Learning Shop, will provide advice and training for people looking after a relative, child or partner.
Organiser Hilary Causier said: "The group helps carers share views and experiences and also gives them access to ways of developing their own potential."
Topics to be covered in the sessions include fire and crime prevention, healthy eating and cooking.
The group will meet on Tuesdays, from April 12, from 10.30am, at the TAD Centre, in Ormesby Road. For details, call (01642) 358099.
