AN exhibition looking at the way the River Tees has influenced the growth of Stockton will come to the town next month.
Recollection of a River focuses on how the river has changed over the centuries, from its role in the town's industrial revolution through to the backdrop for leisure activities today.
The display is at the Green Dragon Museum and will begin on Saturday, April 2.
Kate Mahaffy, of the museum, said: "Recollections of a River aims to encourage people to understand how significant the River Tees has been in influencing the way the Stockton area has grown and to give insights into the rich history of a great river."
The exhibition runs until Saturday, June 25, and admission is free.
The museum is open from 9am to 5pm, Mondays to Saturdays
