ALDBOROUGH Cricket Club's under-15 and under-13 teams looked back on a highly successful 2004 season at their presentation evening last week.
The under-13 team were runners-up in the Darlington and District League, while the under-15s went one better by winning their league and remaining unbeaten in the league all season.
The under-15 team also tasted success in cup competitions, taking part in two closely-contested finals. They were runners-up to Barnard Castle in the league cup and defeated Haughton to win the Charles King Cup.
They also reached the quarter-finals of the Yorkshire stages of the national under-15 knockout cup.
The success at junior level at Aldborough has been made possible by a well-established junior set-up in which children can come along from the age of five and develop their skills supported by a well-organised team of parents and coaches. Contact 01325 718521.
