Guests invited to attend include representatives from the hospital, the primary care trust, social services and local GPs. They will speak on a issues affecting the future of health care in the town.
Ron Foreman, chairman of the Hartlepool PPI forum, said: "There have been so many stories about what might happen to health services in Hartlepool that people are not sure of the full picture. But these professionals will hopefully present a clearer picture and therefore a better understanding for residents and service users."
The meeting starts at 6.30pm for 7pm at West View Community Centre, in Miers Avenue, Hartlepool.
