A YOUNG DJ has won a competition to have one of his mixes played on the radio.
DJ Snowy - real name Martyn Hodgson, from Fishburn, County Durham - beat off competition from thousands of wannabe DJs to win the Galaxy 105-106 radio Undiscovered Talent competition.
DJ Snowy, 20, is hoping his win will lead to more gigs, and ultimately the chance to become a resident DJ at a trance venue in the region.
He has been DJing for seven years and has already done a number of warm-up sets throughout the region for well-known DJs.
His mix was played on Paul Keshaw's Solid State show on Saturday night and his details have been put on the Galaxy website, www.galaxy1056. co.uk, for people to get in touch
