YOUNG shoppers gathered for the chance to win chocolate eggs at Durham's Millburngate Shopping centre at the weekend.
Hundreds of eggs were up for grabs as centre staff - along with a colourful character from The Enchantment Factory - hosted the Wheel of Fortune event.
As part of the Easter celebration, the centre also offered two giant eggs - one as the top prize to one lucky winner.
The other was donated to the TreeTops children's ward at the University Hospital of North Durham, where it will be used as a raffle prize to raise funds for equipment or toys for the ward.
Millburngate centre director Andy Bradley said: "Last year's Easter Wheel of Fortune was very popular with shoppers and their children so we wanted to make this year's event even bigger and better.
"We decided this year to add in a special prize of a giant egg to one lucky spinner and we hope our donation of another giant egg to the children's ward helped raise even more funds in the raffle on Easter Sunday."
